Nobody is stopping our “goats” from making these types of films. We know damn well we can make films of a certain caliber in Africa for a fraction of the price. But All they have done when they got huge budgets from Netflix was squandering it by pocketing 90% to buy mansions and lavish luxury cars while using the 10% to produce drivel for Netflix. They basically discouraged Hollywood from investing directly because most of them are frauds. This is the natural consequence of that behavior. Other people will be the ones representing your culture on your behalf.

Ghanaians, 2030 is just four years away. It has been predicted that by then we may be forced to import water if the destruction of our water bodies continues. Today, private water tankers already charge GH₵800–GH₵1,200 just to fill a household tank. If this becomes the norm, will the average Ghanaian truly be able to afford imported water? And for those who do not have poly tanks at home and rely on daily access to tap water?

And this will not only affect the water you bathe with. It will affect the water you drink, cook with, wash your clothes with, and irrigation of crops. After when water becomes scarce and expensive, food prices will rise and sanitation will be difficult to control. There is already cholera and typhoid outbreaks in communities that are struggling to get access to clean water. This is already a reality. It is easy to spread in places were sanitation is poor. Why aren’t you concerned? #StopGalamseyNow
