Principal Secretary, TVET, Esther Thaara Mworia, was warmly welcomed to The Eldoret National Polytechnic by Chief Principal, Mr. Charles Koech, ahead of the institution’s 13th Annual International Conference.
I was honoured today to officiate the opening ceremony of The Eldoret National Polytechnic's 13th Annual International Conference.
I took the opportunity to tour the upcoming ultra-modern library; soon to be a hub of knowledge and digital learning for the Polytechnic's fraternity. The quality of works and progress made in the construction, and moreso that trainees of the institution are engaged at the site as part of training is satisfactory.
While addressing the participants at the two-day Conference whose theme is 'Competencies in applied research, science, and innovation for sustainable development', I underscored the need for partnering with industry for practical research and innovation initiatives to solve pertinent societal problems as well as commercialization of the innovations.
