My take:

These videos from the students are distributing. This give ALL of the validation we need for gun laws and extensive training.

When the shooter is at large I understand law enforcement having to secure scenes, but patting innocent students down and busting into rooms and treating innocent students like criminals is NOT the solution. These kids are now even more traumatized.

Also, look at the other mass shootings on PWI campuses just this year alone and compare those responses to what we are seeing from last night and you’ll see that law enforcement in this country continually mistreating innocent Black children.

You cannot tell me they would’ve treated students at Harvard, Princeton, or Yale in the same situation in that manner.

And BEFORE you just into my comments to argue with me just answer the following questions for me:

Have you ever sat through and active shooting training on a college campus?
Have you ever dealt with an active shooting situation or a suspect on your campus requiring a lockdown?
Have you worked with law enforcement on active shooter plans and drills?

If you can’t say yes to that that go argue with someone else because I HAVE.
