Watched Ariana Grande’s new video just now, and it was distressing. I feel like we’re all watching her die, and half the comments are in some kind of collective psychosis. I know we aren’t supposed to publicly talk about this for some reason, but it’s genuinely upsetting.
I quoted Abdul’s joke when I mentioned some Dems connecting him to Platner and I’ll quote it again:
“I’m a Muslim with the middle name Muhammad and now I have to carry THAT guy?”
@kcburton12@JordanSpieth@Maxhoma Well kcburton, I respectfully disagree. I’m sorry you feel that way though. I look forward to proving you wrong as soon as possible
He abused her.
They divorced 10 years ago, and he’s a pretty famous — now infamous — musician.
Why bring her into this with a happy-looking photo of them together, given what he did to her?
WTF.
@bighazeleyeddoe Yeah, the people generalizing an entire nation are silly. Those people are not worth engaging with.
I will criticize the team (specifically Enzo and Messi + other leaders of that team) for that incident. It's shameful, regardless of other teams/players doing it.
@pixelyzd@bighazeleyeddoe That's fine- Argentina also played horrendous, thuggish football.
Take the politics out and it makes them even more unlikeable.
