How can @TUI compensate 11 of a party of 13 and not the others for the same complaint? Is it because I also complained about issues relating to accessibility/disability? I can pay ABTA £150 for arbitration if I want to take it further. #disability#discrimination#accessibility
@TUIUK I’m told that I’ll only receive the same response to any further emails I send and so there’s nowhere else for me to go other than ABTA. The way you deal with complaints is not equitable
@TUIUK 13 members of a group who travelled together recently - all complained about the same issue. 11 have been refunded cash. I’ve been offered a TUI voucher. Why does it depend whose desk your complaint ends up on as to whether is a positive or negative experience?
annual reminder that getting disabled kids to perform sadness so nondisabled people give money to charity is gross and ableist
watch something else #ChildrenInNeed
BBC Children In Need
It’s another year of infantilising,
pitying & patronising Disabled children everywhere
Cue the nauseating piano music & “bravery” agenda
Get Disabled people to run it. The shows portrayals of disability are outdated.

@implausibleblog@AldiUK I’ve done this when I’ve been in my wheelchair and there are no wheelchair trollies available. It’s difficult trying to balance a basket on your knee and propel yourself. I always make staff aware of what I’m doing beforehand never had an issue - not done it in Aldi however.
Ever thought about working in prison healthcare?

If you've been affected by suicide, suicidal thoughts or self-harm, could you take part in our survey? The results will help shape future support for people who go through similar experiences. It's open to anyone of any age https://t.co/svdty9Kxee
@GTMofficial is it necessary for this van to have its engine running for nearly an hour this morning? Not very good for the environment or for anyone working nights
Had a trip to the Nottm @DunelmUK store today on my own in my wheelchair to find there were no wheelchair trollies . Please don’t assume disabled people will always be with someone. I want to go to a shop alone & not have to balance my shopping on my knees. #ableism

He couldn’t really tell me which of the services provided were accessible (had no info). I expected better from a company that provide MSK services. Prob gonna cancel my appt as I don’t want to deal with an organisation like this. But I’m in pain and need help. @TeamNUH
Just been referred to as ‘wheelchair bound’ by a physio from @Connect_Health_ Think you need to give your staff some training about how to refer to wheelchair users. I explained why it was offensive & he said ‘well ok, you’re not, but for those that are’ like that was ok. (Cont)
More fab work from our Mental Health Support Team for #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek - theme ‘Let’s Connect’. Rebecca, CBT therapist, visited Netherfield School where young people created puzzles & ‘Connect Bingo’ to understand the importance of feeling connected. See comments👇
Ordered an attachment for my wheelchair on 24th Nov - dispatched same day 48 delivery. According to tracking not yet left sorting office. Any idea when I’m gonna be able to get around again #Evri ? How the dickens do I contact you? Shocking service.
Annual reminder about #ChildrenInNeed2022
Many of the talent on screen are being paid to be there, and many of them are millionaires and use legal loopholes to dodge paying their fair share of tax.
But they’re asking you, the taxpaying members of the public, to donate money.
