@JoyHC123 @strugglingmeds2 This. Just look at the divorce statistics id rather be single and content with being by myself than be struggling in an unhappy relationship or worse marriage. So much pressure still for relationships and marriages. I’m not against them just wish there was less pressure on folk.
@strugglingmeds2 I’ve felt similar to this. I’m now more at peace with being by myself. Love travelling when I can and meeting people but also love being confident in living life without a need for a relationship. If it happens it happens. You are not a failure for being single. Sending hugs
@KavitaGooch@strugglingmeds2@TraumaPhDandMe Im so sorry work has given you that much fear. I was lucky that I could go to an agency in the meantime. Ironically I’m a mental health nurse who was bullied by other mh nurses. Agency was my lifeline. And you’re right, narcissism is rife in workplaces
@benjimentor@strugglingmeds2@TraumaPhDandMe Sorry to hear this. I had a similar experience in my last job. Staff in my area were getting to verbally abuse pts while I was being hauled up for my mental health and getting threatened with misconduct for crying. The trauma from it had been no joke. Hope you’re healing well
@alwaddington Im a cryer when I need to process (not in front of patients) and my last job absolutely hounded me for it to the point I had to leave. Since I’ve been in places where crying is welcomed for being part of being human. What a relief to be in a healthy environment now
@HannahJay96 Fab! Last year was bad for me, like really bad so it’s amazing how much it’s changed so fast. My mum and friends have even been commenting how it’s like I’ve done a complete 180 from last year lol it’s weird feeling good again xxx
@HannahJay96 Definitely! Enjoy the sunset! I’ve found I need something to look forward to each year, a holiday (or two lol) something that gives me motivation to go to work and earn money 🩷 xxx
@HannahJay96 We shouldn’t be expected to have it all together when we are in our early 20s but unfortunately society suggests otherwise but it’s getting better that way
@HannahJay96 I don’t know how old you are (I’m 28) and i just felt happy and stable this year. Our brains aren’t fully formed until our late 20s so knowing that helped me reflect that my struggles were also because I was still finding myself.
@HannahJay96 And being happy and wanting to life has come with it’s weird challenges but nothing compared to how I felt before. I take medication as well but I’ve been taking medication for years and I think it helps but navigating the lifestyle for me is what I feel has helped most xxx
@HannahJay96 Things will get better again. I went through 17 years of suicidal depression and I finally feel happy and looking forward to life ahead of me. I’ve had to learn what works for me though which has been a journey. You are not me but I just want you to know there is hope xxx
