the Pippa Inverse Perception Index (PIPI) is never wrong, I will be taking the money I saved by not seeing Joker 2 and picking this up during the next steam sale
@patrician_tv Agreed. I’ve used so many community-made programs and tools for games hosted on Github and thankfully the creators have had the foresight to include Windows binaries.
@Bin445566@ShitpostRock They ruined Zelda so bad in TotK. In BotW she's at least an active and crucial participant pre-calamity. In TotK She falls in a hole, wakes up in the past, does nothing, warns no one of (calamity) GANON-dorf, watches everyone else die, then basically deletes herself.
@Paragraph212@ShitpostRock I loved BotW. Put more than 200 hours into my first 100% playthrough on Wii U and nearly as much again on Switch and emulator. I consider it the best 6 /10 I've ever played. I regard TotK much more harshly. That said, it at least bumped BotW up to a 6.5 / 10 for me.
@Paragraph212@Malatestus@ShitpostRock BotW's puzzles aren't great. They're all basically "Baby's first physics puzzle." There's no real difficulty curve to them.
TotK doesn't do much better. If anything the extra tools Link has makes them worse. Most of them can be solved / bypassed with a bridge.
@Bin445566@ShitpostRock A very strange decision on Nintendo's part. The underground could've been full of ancient Shiekah magitech and the "past" storyline could've been about Hyrule ~10000 years ago in the lead up to the original calamity. Delve more into BotW's established and barely explored past.
@FallowRealms@jimwalk91877054@ShitpostRock I wouldn't be quite so harsh on TotK if it didn't take 6 years to release and charge full price. If it was released as a literal expansion a few years after BotW for $30~40 USD it'd still be flawed but at least be a far better value.
@buniesinfernal@ShitpostRock I'm genuinely glad you enjoyed it. I had an immensely enjoyable, unique, and memorable experience with BotW myself. Unfortunately, that left me with perhaps unrealistically high expectations that TotK didn't quite meet.
I'm not religious myself. Never have been. Nor my parents, 'least not by the time they had me. But even as an atheist I've never seen anything wrong with a character with strong religious convictions. Like anything else about a character it's all about how it's handled.
I think 97 nightcrawler is like… way too catholic. Like sure Kurt’s Catholicism is an important part of his character but it’s not like… the main thing.
