@band_milli @JaromirTesar @IOHK_Charles I agree, holding bitcoin doesnt control the miners but the rewards for mining does. But who’s to say they wont invest? The BTC Nakamoto co-eff is like 2-3, if they control a sizeable amount of BTC and invest in the mining could spell a worst case scenario. Just speculating is all

@band_milli @JaromirTesar @IOHK_Charles Actually it does, if you fork the chain then you secure it using your own ‘blackrock certified’ mining rigs for the tradfi-BTC chain. The original miners will continue to secure the original bitcoin chain but if there’s more value elsewhere then I’d assume they’d follow the money
