@Angwalker75@tariqnasheed It definitely wasnt just a push and under texas law ANY form of hostility or threate of violence falls under stand your ground. Read Texas Penal code 9.31 goofy
@dre1021@shockwaves904 That's true but the point is there is always an expectation of a golden generation and unfortunately sometimes they dont rise to the occasion. We shouldn't be harsh on ourselves because all nations go thorough it.
@dre1021@shockwaves904 Golden Generations fail all the time... look at England 2006. Belgium 2014. It happens. Rarely does a "golden genration" win... I mean Spain I guess. Brazil doesn't count.
@dre1021@shockwaves904 I think Pochettino secretly knows this team isn't actually any better than previous generations. Notice he keeps trying to parlay this back into a coaching gig in Europe. If America want to actually get better. It has to start from the Top
@dre1021@USSoccerpolitic Yes and the USA played Germany well in 02 and 14. I am just saying while everyone is "hyped' true football fans know this is actually always been the case. The USA has always played Germany tough but the results remain the same. That's not progress
@Denzera@elpulmon5@DonBenzuuuu I disagree 2002 World Cup Finals is and STILL the hallmark. We went toe to toe with absolute legends of the game. This is a send off friendly with very little to play for.
@Denzera@elpulmon5@DonBenzuuuu Honestly they have to play with high energy because we lack quality.... This is why I am not impressed by this game with Germany. Given our history with them.. this is nothing new. We alway have played them close, just to lose a narrow result.
@DonBenzuuuu@elpulmon5 Yes but to what degree... it's a friendly close to the world cup. I tend to see that the USMNT plays with alot of intensity in games in which they shouldn't and when in games they should they tend to lack...
