Mr Dangote, isn't it common sense that harmony between you and the People of Lamu is necessary for your success? The President in power is not synonymous with Kenyans. International law requires compliance with the host Country's Laws.
@KRACare@mahsenmohammed1 DM a 100+ invoices, millions of tax payers??##this is unacceptable, Somebody is sleeping in his Job, 2 days to deadli,##bottlenecks due to the rush @@penalties. We pay taxes to work for US. Very sad
How you all ignored such red flags still surprises me. Kenyas had an easy task to not vote for this guy, now we are faced with even a bigger task to kick him out.
“I said it before, I will say it again, you can rent a kikuyu but you can never buy a kikuyu.
Bottom line, they will still vote for their own people, they know what is good for the region and they would stand with their region”
Anne Waiguru
The country especially Western Kenya and Nyanza should learn from our Mount Kenya Sharp Vintage Baddies. The sang like this and still did not vote the UDA Candidate despite being given free gas, shoes, mattresses, last minute road construction, fare etc!
WANTAM IS INEVITABLE! https://t.co/nUs9oVqX8Q
This is how Ol Kalou residents have been guarding and transporting votes to the main constituency tallying centre for the Ol Kalou Parliamentary By-Election, which is located at the Ol Kalou Secondary School Hall.
The Senator for Nyandarua knew what he was saying & doing. He has away of engaging his constituents. Listen to this & see how they mock Ruto on spending so much and getting nothing. I love how sarcastic he is with the government.
A government that cannot command the confidence of its people soon resorts to commanding their fear.
My admiration to the people of Ol Kalou for standing their ground peacefully in defence of democracy, and to the journalists who continued to bear witness despite intimidation and assault.
Truth has always found its way through courage.

HOW TO BECOME A BETTER READER OF SACRED SCRIPTURE AS A CHRISTIAN
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
Owning a Bible is a blessing.
Reading it faithfully is a discipline.
Living it is the goal.
Sacred Scripture is the inspired Word of God, written under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and entrusted to the Church. Every time you open the Bible, God desires to speak to you, deepen your faith, and draw you closer to Jesus Christ.
If you want to become a better reader of Sacred Scripture, do not simply aim to finish the Bible. Aim to let the Bible transform you.
1. BEGIN WITH PRAYER
Never open the Bible without first asking for God’s help.
The Holy Spirit inspired the sacred authors and continues to guide the Church in understanding His Word.
Pray:
“Holy Spirit, open my mind to understand Your Word, my heart to receive it with faith, and my life to live it with love.”
2. READ EVERY DAY
Consistency is more important than quantity.
Even fifteen or twenty minutes each day will bear greater fruit than reading for hours only once in a while.
The more often you listen to God, the more clearly you begin to recognize His voice.
3. CHOOSE A FAITHFUL CATHOLIC BIBLE
Use a Catholic Bible that contains all seventy three books of Sacred Scripture.
Good Catholic translations include:
• Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSV CE)
• New American Bible Revised Edition (NABRE)
• Douay Rheims Bible
A faithful translation helps you study God’s Word with confidence.
4. FOLLOW A READING PLAN
Avoid opening the Bible at random.
A reading plan helps you understand the unity of God’s plan of salvation.
A good place to begin is:
• The Gospel of Mark
• The Gospel of Luke
• The Acts of the Apostles
• Genesis
• Exodus
• The Psalms
• Proverbs
• The Letters of Saint Paul
• The remaining books of Scripture
5. READ IN CONTEXT
Never build your understanding on a single isolated verse.
Ask yourself:
Who wrote this?
Who was the original audience?
Why was it written?
What comes before and after this passage?
Context protects us from misunderstanding God’s Word.
6. READ WITH THE CATHOLIC CHURCH
Sacred Scripture was entrusted to the Church.
The same Holy Spirit who inspired the Bible guides the Church in its authentic interpretation.
Read alongside:
• The Catechism of the Catholic Church
• The writings of the Church Fathers
• Faithful Catholic commentaries
• The lives of the Saints
Remember that Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the teaching authority of the Church work together, not against one another.
7. LET SCRIPTURE EXPLAIN SCRIPTURE
Pay attention to footnotes, cross references, and Old Testament quotations.
The Bible is one unified story of salvation.
Promises made in the Old Testament are fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
The more connections you discover, the more beautifully the entire Bible comes alive.
8. LOOK FOR JESUS CHRIST ON EVERY PAGE
Jesus said that the Scriptures testify about Him.
Whether you are reading Genesis, Isaiah, the Psalms, or Revelation, always ask:
How does this passage reveal Christ?
How does it prepare for Him?
How does it call me to follow Him?
The Bible is ultimately the story of God’s love revealed in Jesus Christ.
9. PRACTICE LECTIO DIVINA
One of the Church’s oldest ways of praying with Scripture is Lectio Divina.
Its four simple steps are:
Read.
Meditate.
Pray.
Contemplate.
Allow God’s Word to move from your eyes to your mind, from your mind to your heart, and from your heart into your daily life.
10. KEEP A SPIRITUAL JOURNAL
Write down:
• Verses that touch your heart
• Questions you want to study
• Insights you receive during prayer
• Ways God is calling you to grow
• Prayers inspired by your reading
Over time, your journal will become a record of God’s faithfulness in your life.
