The arrogance of this man beggars belief. Having achieved (checks notes) a championship title (just about), he constantly makes veiled threats to players that they must do what he says on the pitch. By what fucking micro-managing right!?

His “Style” offers nothing for the opposition to be concerned about and is destroying any individual creativity or freedom of expression that our players have. None of them take responsibility for what’s happening in-game because (1.) they don’t know how, as they’re not being empowered and (2.) they fear for their place in the team if they dare to do something “off the cuff”.

It’s ridiculous and insulting.

What happened to pragmatism in managers? Stick your ideologies up your arse! If what you’ve told the players to do isn’t working, change it! Don’t just arrogantly stick to your “Philosophy”. It’s not (and never will be) as important as winning the game.

What must the likes of Estevao be thinking when they watch us…? “I can’t wait to get to Chelsea, where I’ll be banned from taking players on” and “all the skills I have, that have forged my reputation, I’ll be banned from using them. Instead I’ll be asked to pass backwards - great”
