@DailyMonitor There are ways we can sustainably produce in wetlands with limited impact on the environment- why don't we learn from other big rice producers in the world. Alternatively, this could have waited after harvest 😢

@newvisionwire How are the smallholder farmers to survive after investing the little they have in inputs for this crop - within a few weeks, farmers would have harvested. We need to be humane even in power and authority. Sustainable production practices answer the concerns of wetland production
