good things come in threes
with the huge volume on @RobinhoodCrypto today, $AI is the third token to hit an ath above $100M
still waiting for this number to explode
next week has a few things i’ll be watching
$gwood presents at @mcglive tomorrow
$index stock baskets are under review by @sbsecurity_@giwa_by_upbit enters september with private mainnet deployment still on the roadmap
nice having real product catalysts behind positions i hold
what happened in the crypto card space was a good reminder that we still need to be careful with how these products are built
the $gwood team confirmed there’s no processor key sitting between me and my funds, which makes their push only design feel a lot more reassuring
Today’s exploit in the crypto card space does not affect Greenwood Finance.
The way that Greenwood funding works matters.
Some architectures let a payment processor pull funds out of a user’s onchain vault. The user deposits, the processor holds a key, and settlement happens by the processor signing a release. It works until that key is compromised, at which point an attacker can sign releases that look entirely valid to the contract.
Greenwood doesn’t work that way. Funding is one direction only: push, never pull.
Money leaves your smart account only when your own passkey signs the transaction, and only to a single pre-authorized destination. Our card partner has no signing authority over your account. There is no release key, no processor-side permission, and no path for a third party to initiate a movement of your funds.
robinhood chain had a strong week
$5.34b in dex volume, up 64%
94.2m transactions, up 12.8%
and while activity picked up across the chain, some tokens moved with it too, with $pons being one of the clearest examples
feels like the whole ecosystem finally got some motion again
@Livermore_LM still find it strange how little giwa gets talked about in europe
either europe is still very early to it, or what do you think is keeping that attention from crossing over?
@GwoodFinance will stockback positions automatically count toward portfolio line collateral, meaning everyday spending could gradually increase your borrowing capacity?
@0xLUFFT an interesting question could be what keeps YieldShares trading close to the value of the underlying vault
if they can be freely traded and redeemed anytime, is arbitrage expected to keep that gap tight?
the launchpad war might have been one of the best things to happen to robinhood chain with players like @ponsdotfamily and @TradePools
competition pushed builders to innovate fast and made such a young chain feel surprisingly advanced
keep building
cbBTC just came to robinhood chain and it feels more important than it looks
stocks, bitcoin, lending, perps and stablecoins are slowly ending up on the same rails
feels like robinhood chain is becoming what it was meant to be, making projects like $INDEX even more interesting
isn’t it much cooler trading on robinhood chain instead of solana
feels like rugs, bundles and scams give way to utility projects you can dig into and watch grow as features come
less short term holding, more trusting projects through the whole build
thanks @RobinhoodCrypto
$PONS is flying while $STACK is still sitting there
we’ve seen these two move together before and they’re closely connected, so seeing one take off without the other has my attention
will @StackersXYZ follow next?
might be one of the last good entries before the move 👀
been seeing more and more protocols like @TheIndexFi et @HOOD10 emerge on robinhood lately and i really like where this is going
making stocks and diversified exposure easier to access, easier to hold and directly available onchain just feels like a very natural fit for rhc
@impuls4e agreed, maybe deeper integrations with lending protocols could be interesting, making $index or its underlying stock exposure usable as collateral
@StarPlatinum_ seems like rh is more of a long term holding story, while solana feels more fast moving and attention driven
different ways to play the market
just came across $wrapfi and it feels closely aligned with what robinhood chain is trying to build
a bridge, a dex and soon a permissionless launchpad with staking, governance and revenue funded buybacks
still very early, but definitely one i’ll be digging into
