gLighter,
got many questions about yesterdays weekly Lighter Points post so here is some wrap up I've created (answer for most of them)

to conclude:
volume is not everything as I clearly stated proving it week after week, usually got few points trading ~$100 and doing very very little volume (I to be honest use it for my enjoyment that I can buy few Lighter points for few dollars a week)

QA (tips for you):
1. which pairs you are trading?
- I am using mostly new pairs/low OI pairs (think about it in the simple way, you can open x50 position on majors where there is billions of volume or open x3/x5 position on fresh market with less competition)

2. how long do you keep trades open?
- I dont know, there is no desired time for the trade, do it organic way, think that you are trading and points are given on top not opposite

3. are you net positive or negative?
- usually positive but from time to time it's opposite but I dont gamble this, if you can stay positive then just do it (isnt that the clue of trading?)

4. do you liquidate yourself on purpose?
not on purpose but sometimes happen organically haha

things to consider that could be counted (are not sure):
- my Lighter account is 9 months old
- held mid 5 figures in LLP for quite long time
- I am using mostly maker orders (instead of market ones)
- my overall ratio should be good after long history of organic trading

stay organic, don't chase the volume, enjoy the process, it's not a wash trading competition

thanks!

@BleemAI @variational_io @arcus_xyz I believe that they do and wont stop so it's cool.

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

got few DMs why I don't try @variational_io instead of @arcus_xyz

well, I actually gave it a try last few days

this was my first and last week on variational

sent 15k to check how it works, done like 400k volume on x1/x2 leverage and got ~20 points but using it is just pain the ass

why?
- high spreads even with x1/x2 low margin positions
- OI cap on most intresting pairs
- liquidation price is a joke
- no TWAP

I don't want to FUD your bags and hope you can get $185 pp but it's honestly not for me (no hard feelings, var has tons of users and volume so they dont need me there)

I am still using Lighter/Extended/Hyperliquid but got long term positions with size there and looking for side hustle

@_cryptoshi_ $3 is not much for all the points you have.

not quite sure what is the number but if more than 1 then it's a steal

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@degenyaps Oh damn. Ale po co wyciągać pizzę z japy?

Chodziło mi o nocne zajęcia z kręcenia placka.

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@0xPaulThomas @variational_io @arcus_xyz Yeah, not surprised, that is also my feeling after few days.

Where you moved?

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@ajey_eth @variational_io @arcus_xyz Maybe after arcus 😆

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

1. Show me delta neutral strategy that one side is +50% in few days.
2. You can see account value curve, does it look DN?
3. Show me your PNL/account if you want to talk about reconsidering the strategy.
4. Its just simply not worth it to throw money away, even if it is not much.
5. Where I said that it is creating some alpha? Just shared my thoughts that it's expensive and not worth it in my situation.

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@SalsaTekila That is why larping is so common, because it just simply works.

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@Cbb0fe Black points are so dubai 😆

They could have named it penalty, warning, just anything but of course its black.. 😆

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@eth_elian You can either have printer or draw it manually, simple choice.

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@0xjawor Nihao

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@0xrhota @variational_io @arcus_xyz Yeah, sure and projects have billions of users. Same story, missing only dragons.

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@matyv_7 @variational_io @arcus_xyz Right, leverage is more than enough but no crypto assets so it does not solve it at all.. 🫠

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@Beeper_7 @variational_io @arcus_xyz Quite opposite, it just does not work for me.

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@matyv_7 @variational_io @arcus_xyz If I can do leverage with crypto assets on the "swaps" and it solves the problems then I might give it a try.

But never heard of leveraged swaps, I mean there was something like this but the project did not last.

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@matyv_7 @variational_io @arcus_xyz Dont need to try var*

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@matyv_7 @variational_io @arcus_xyz Well, I did not say I prefer arcus, I said that I need to try var because I did.

In terms of arcus I did not try it yet so hard to judge.

Swaps works for any leveraged asset or what does it cover?

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@OMG_VAR @variational_io @arcus_xyz Likewise!

[Testovsky @testovsky_eth]

@louisdives If you are so sure then it is easiest ever 4x for you
