✅ No falta petróleo, faltan refinerías. Hay crudo de sobra; el cuello de botella en 2026 es la capacidad de destilado cercana, debido al cierre de refinerías en Europa en los últimos 20 años y a la destrucción de refinerías e infraestructuras en Rusia y Arabia. Grandes proveedores de crudo destilado como la India y EEUU siguen existiendo, pero a más distancia y precio.

✅ Europa ha cerrado 34 de 109 refinerías desde 2000. Los productores europeos cerraron sus refinerías por mayores costes qu*e sus competidores asiáticos, por la transición energética y los costes de CO₂, combinado con una progresiva caída de la demanda de combustibles de carretera, autoinfligida por la normativa “verde”.

✅ Europa es importadora neta de gasóleo desde hace años. Rusia llegó a cubrir cerca de la mitad de las importaciones europeas de diésel, pero tras el embargo a productos rusos, el gasóleo viene ahora sobre todo de Arabia Saudita, EEUU e India.

✅ Ataques ucranianos a refinerías rusas. En 2026 Ucrania ha atacado 25 de las 32 refinerías rusas (el 82% de su capacidad de refino ha sido dañada en mayor o menor medida). Rusia prohibió primero la exportación de gasolina, luego de queroseno y, el 8 de julio, de diésel.

✅ El tráfico por Ormuz está gravemente perturbado por la guerra Irán–Israel/EEUU desde febrero 2026: hay tráfico escoltado y las rutas alternativas han paliado mucho el cuello de botella, pero para Europa el Golfo Pérsico ha dejado de ser un origen fiable y lo ha sustituido por Arabia Saudita/Mar Rojo.

✅ La gran refinería de Jazan (Jizan) en Arabia Saudita, ha sido atacada por Irán a través de los hutíes. Primero en julio/agosto y una segunda oleada el 7-8 de septiembre. El 10-11 de septiembre atacaron también el oleoducto Este-Oeste de Arabia Saudí, la alternativa que se estaba usando cuando Ormuz se cerraba.

✅ Los precios del diésel en la UE en promedio ha subido del orden del 38-40% respecto a febrero. Y las calefacciones todavía no han sido encendidas (en el centro y norte de Europa muchas siguen siendo de diesel).

✅ “La energía más barata es la que no usamos”– Ese es el Plan B de Ursula Von Der Leyen, expuesto el 13 de abril 2026 [“The least expensive energy is the energy we do not use. We should reduce demand…”]. Claro, y la comida.

Beijing drone owners are lining up to sell their devices, AFP has reported.

A revised municipal rule is said to take effect on 15 November 2026. From that date, Beijing is reported to ban not only flying drones, but also possessing, storing or bringing drones and core parts into the city, except in cases provided for by law.

Owners are said to be able to sell at official buyback points, scrap the device, ship it out free via EMS, or take it out themselves. A 30% buyback subsidy, capped at 3,000 yuan, is reported for eligible verified personal drones sold by 31 October. After that, the extra subsidy is said to drop to 15%.

Some owners are reported to complain about low valuations.
China is home to DJI, but private owners in the capital now have to move, sell or scrap their drones.
