Using my resources ( or just fooling around, depending on who you're asking ๐) in order to:
- support Tesla's mission
- support Ukraine
- stop climate warming.
- stop Putin and all he represents.
That's why my (British ) 3s
are welcoming my (Romanian) Model Y!
@fantony_francis@Acyn Communism is a threat indeed. But to fight it you need a decent, credible leader. Take Reagan or Thatcher for example who, by the way, defeated communism once.
Trump only makes AOC palatable as no one expect anything worse than the current president. And worse can always come.
@sikorskiradek Your president is a scoundrel ready to play the role of Putins useful idiot in order to score some political points at the expense of his country.
Trump is the most socialist president in American history, and combined with his nationalist, autocratic tendencies and policies, it makes him a National Socialist in a way that isnโt manipulative or ironic at all, as it was used in the 30's.
@heisdenji โWhere are you from?โ Thatโs the phrase every immigrant is terrified of hearing.โ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
I'm hearing it a couple of times every day in London too.
@elonmusk@chamath Work was always optional (less so in communist times when it was legally mandatory) and it's still optional. Some people are exercising their options right now.
@VanberghenEU@sandumaiamd@AlexMunteanuMD Lecturing Maia Sandu, a leader of global standing, and Moldova, a country pretty well run, by a faceless bureaucrat in Bucharest. Get into a union with Romania and that's what you get at scale.
Better later in the EU as a country than sooner as a territorial addendum to Romania.
@NicusorDanRO How the fuck it supports Ukraine? By just not stabbing it in the back like Hungary and Poland do? That's a low bar. There's a once in a multi century opportunity for Romania to cement a powerful alliance for the future with , probably, the most consequential nation in Europe.
@IAPonomarenko What I'd really like to know is how characters like David Sachs have been compromised. Buying a billionaire is a hard thing to do unless it happens on his way to becoming one.
@IAPonomarenko Ukraine showed that it has the resources within.
I'm sure it can repeat this in economic realms and create a country that attracts capital like a magnet and does not need to beg for it.
A recent post by @Kyrylo_Budanov convinced me that the solution is already internalized.
@RKropiwnicki EU needs Ukraine more than the other way around. And definitely more than it ever needed Poland. You talk about history now? Good: who's dicks have you sucked for centuries? Or do you just feel nostalgic?
@WypartowiczBa At its core EU is a Franco-German project.
In 1990 Poles were crossing the border to Germany to smuggle cigarettes and visit Aldi, the only shop they could afford. Poor, uneducated and backwards and of no use to the EU.
Ukraine at least saved Europe's ass (and firstly yours).
@KateGoesTech Poles are dull; Ukrainians are fun. Poles are rude, Ukrainian are courteous; Poles are obtuse, Ukrainians are open-minded. And I could go on.
EU money could not wash the deep stench of peasantry off of Poles. To me, when it comes to polished people, Ukrainians are the only ones.
@NicusorDanRO Sometimes I think you made a habit of not reading the news. This idiot is continuing Orban work: stubbing Ukraine in the back.
The result of his policies and actions help both Romania's enemy - Russia and your enemy - Simon.
