Halfway through a 10 Hour drive I
stop in Savannah to drop off the Comedian that was riding with me. He could tell I was tired & said I could sleep on the couch. Around 3am, his girlfriend walks in from work, wakes me up and tells me to get out. As I’m putting my shoes on, she COOKING him. man. Turns out it wasn’t HIS house. It was HER house and he had JUST got a key two weeks ago. She told that man Comedy is just a career where you collect broke ass friends. That shit hurt my heart so I yelled out “ I ain’t broke!” And she said, “ if you had money, then nygga, you’d be at a Marriott!” I looked over at my homeboy to help me out, buddy had the same look on his face as Shannon Sharpe. Must be a Savannah thing.
