We’re Australia’s #1 behavioural finance podcast and I reckon our audience would love to hear from you.
Would you be interested in a 60min online interview to discuss your findings?
@JEichstaedt just listened to your recent interview with the guardian re happiness in different countries.
Would love to dive a bit deeper into this topic with you on my podcast. We’ve been running a sort of real world experiment for the last five years in a similar space.
Simple way to wealth*
Make something or of people want
In a way most won’t or can’t.
*Note, simple doesn’t mean easy.
But take comfort knowing the ‘work’ is your moat.
The law of least effort is the only real edge you have.
There are ways to fund your goals:
Find money: cut the fat.
Raise money, sell stuff, call in debts.
Earn money: side gig, pay rise.
Make money: side hustle, start a biz.
Mix and match to make what you want a reality 👍
@MrJakeWoodhouse Selling your business to buy BTC is the right move?
Struggling to understand this one.
A business gives you 10x more control over your destiny.
The other your short to medium term future is extremely uncertain. And not at all influenced by your daily attention or action.
@profgalloway thankyou for the thoughtful views shared on @StevenBartlett’s podcast.
One of the best eps I’ve heard this yr on any show.
I cohost Aus leading behavioural finance podcast ‘The Passive Income Project’…
The general concept of:
1. Knowing yourself (but not taking yourself too seriously)
And
2. Putting yourself in positions to succeed.
Is a msg I’ve found myself repeating often…
@lukeburgis I left my ‘dream job’ as an elite performance coach working with some of the world best athletes, to build an online education business. The transition took 6 years.
@AndrewW38098530 I don't love ad hominem attacks, tbh, Andy.
I agree with the Kouk sometimes, and not at other times, but he's not ill-informed or stupid.
The future is unknowable, but I reckon we should stick with the issues not the personalities.
I'm bringing this back out on the back of today's minimum wage decision.
Pretending it won't put upward pressure on inflation, just because you think the increases are justified, is either misunderstanding, ideological blindness or pure dishonesty.

@TMFScottP Huge problem that continues to be tackled at a 'symptom' level. So we have a persistent mismatch of demand and supply. On top of a system of perverted incentives that looks likely to keep it that way.
