Economics is not an extension of culture, it’s an extension of human action and understanding economics is an extension of logic. For example:
Economics exists with one person on a desert island, obviously culture does not, so it cannot be derivative of culture.
The law of supply and demand is a law of logic and despite any vague assertions about trade being ‘brought to heel’ (whatever that means) these laws exist.
