I can’t even imagine spending years developing and honing in on my animation skills to only serve executives that don’t respect the art of animation and the talent that goes with it and only care about numbers and graphs on a sheet. I’d lose my fucking mind.
i think it’s funny when people respond to the information that their consciousness is undying by saying “that sucks, i’ll get bored.” you will not.
your brain cannot perceive infinity or its endless colors, which is why eternity registers as more of the same forever. you are imagining your current consciousness stretched on a timeline, and that is not what you are. you have access to infinite expressions of being.
you can incarnate as anything that exists anywhere in the universe. a tree, a star, a being on a different planet or dimension. you can rewatch every moment of your current lifetime (and all the other lives you’ve ever lived) like a highly immersive movie. you can experience all of time in its infinity and skim through it, or choose not to incarnate at all and dissolve back into source, existing as pure blissful consciousness. the possibilities are literally endless.
boredom requires limitation, and you are anything but limited. you are forever itself.
Anyone saying WFH is bad hasn't truly experienced it. I wake up just 10 minutes before work with no hour-long commute. I finish my workday without facing another hour of return traffic. I cook my own meals and get to spend time with my family. Where is the downside in that?
struggling to purchase a new oven, new washing machine and new computer because all the reviews are like, “made of plastic crap. broke after 18 months” and “can’t wash my clothes rn because the machine’s wifi was hacked to mine bitcoin.”
Amazon workers pee in bottles to meet quotas but Jeff Bezos buys yachts so big that in 2022 they nearly dismantled a historic bridge to move it through Rotterdam.
And we’re debating whether a $30 minimum wage is “realistic.”
The debate itself is obscene.
