If you want to know where you heart is, watch where your mind goes when you daydream. Manifest the shit out of those dreams! We ride the escalator of life just once! Let’s go! Love to all.🖤
What a release day! Proud to have produced all these albums:
Twin Temple - “Doomed Lovers” - a dream to make a record that sounds like this. All live instruments, a 37 piece orchestra, a dark fun journey. These guys are so into so much cool music and write such timeless songs. BSC Forever!
James Woods & Bob Wayne “The Killer’s Wife” - a wild concept album based on a true story about a once in a lifetime encounter. We get to make such creative records on this project with such great writing!
Jess Williamson - “A Mile South of Heaven” - from the moment I met Jess I liked her style and I liked her songs. What a great dream voice! We had a blast making this with such a fun band!
Levi Foster - “Appalachian Funk Tree” - Levi came to me with this idea for a blend of lots of styles of music and he executed them so greatly. Such a talented and good guy! Can’t wait to see where his career takes him!
And thanks to all the musicians that played on these records! Ted Russell Kamp, Jamie Douglass, John Schreffler, Brian Whelan, Matt Chamberlain, Jay Bellerose, Chris Masterson, Aubrey Richmond, Eleanor Whitmore, Bonnie Whitmore, the Waters of course for their great work on the Woods Wayne project!
And Mark Rains and David Spreng who recorded these. And Mark mixed all four!
By the way, I added nothing to “Same Old Blues”. Those are all the original tracks as found. Synths and all. I just mixed it. It’s Tony Joe White and my dad on guitar. I haven’t been able to identify the synth players as of yet. Tony Joe produced it. Just bad ass timeless jams.
@dollarnuftynuf The same thing as streaming a 32-bit recorded song. Getting an inferior quality version of the original song. Very few ways to get the full res version and no physical ways (besides SACD’s and the like which I think are due to gain some ground in America)
I’m so happy that Clovis is now FREE! Charley and I went to Clovis, NM to one of the founders of Rock n’ Roll, Norman Perry’s legendary studio and created this record out of the colors in @CharleyCrockett ‘s mind, the ghosts of the past and the dirt of the beautiful New Mexico/Texas border. My father recorded his first recordings there as a teenager, being produced by Buddy Holly and Norman.
Charley and a core of the Blue Drifters came with really nothing premeditated and we followed the flow of magic in that place. I couldn’t be more proud of the album.
The new album Mission Of Mercy shows growth and still boogies 🎸
We’ll be bringing these songs out on the road, so make sure you check out the album and come boogie with us.

I bought this 1951 @Fender Broadcaster guitar while making the first Heartbreakers’ record. I thought I was buying a Telecaster, but was corrected. The tone is so unique and truly part of the Heartbreakers’ sound. I found myself reaching for this guitar a lot while making 'Mission Of Mercy,' my 4th studio album with The Dirty Knobs. Excited this record is out now for everyone to hear - go listen! 🎸 https://t.co/eRr0HKoftd
