It seems that even amongst those who question everything else our governments do, whether it be unlimited immigration, or the response to COVID, or our profligate public spending, or women with penises, or overseas aid spending, or weapons of mass destruction, or our lunatic energy policy, one piece of dogma which can never ever be rejected is the idea that Russia is an existential threat to Britain.

It seems that this is the one topic on which the UK State and its agencies are uniquely infallible, competent, credible and honest, despite their history of incompetence and dishonesty on everything else.

It's really something to behold.

Weird how the people outraged by the "hounding" of Jason Arday delight in and encourage the actual hounding of the person who exposed him.

Arday was not fired from his job or denied employment opportunities. On the contrary, he was given and retained jobs for which he was not qualified and was rightly criticised for lying.

Cofnas, on the other hand, is actually being denied jobs and fired from them for bring Arday's lying to light.
