I don’t want bipartisan compromise with a party that refused to convict a president that incited an insurrection that left people dead.
The Senate needs to abolish the filibuster, and we need to pass the bold agenda we were elected to accomplish.
Why is our Governor on FOX with political hacks complaining about...windmills? I invite him to visit 90 yr olds in Fort Bend w/o heat, water, or power on O2 tanks. Stop the rhetoric. We need leadership, not empty presidential ambitions. We already have empty power grids...
I go offline a few days and return to a GOP Gov blaming policies he hasn’t even implemented for his own failures.
Gov. Abbott doesn’t seem to have a grasp on his state, so here’s a reminder: Texas runs 80-90% on fossil fuels.
The real “deadly deal” is his failed leadership.
"While they focused on bathroom bills, "show me your papers" legislation and fighting with sports teams over the Star Spangled Banner, 30M Texans were left vulnerable..." Beto O'Rourke said, calling out Gov. Greg Abbott/others for the mass power outages.

@JYSexton it amazes me that "patriotism" doesn't mean wanting your population to be as healthy as possible, but instead being totally OK with letting vast numbers of people needlessly get sick and die.
We are living in the consequences of malicious and incompetent management over the course of years and generations and no one responsible will admit their part or work to repair the damage. All they have are conspiracy theories and partisan blame to win news cycles.
El Paso TX is on national grid & still has power. Cities on Texas grid are struggling without power/heat. Because it is on the national grid, El Paso gets energy from plants with winterizing regs. Texas grid “deregulated” so no winterizing. People are dying for GOP philosophies.
The situation is dire in Austin. We’re without power and heat with no end in sight amidst frigid temperatures. My wife and I still have running water. Others have had pipes break. There needs to be accountability for what happened. Right now the priority is to keep people safe.
