@KarmSumal@HearTellLearn@builtjustice@vancolour Then publicly call that account out. Post something in the Hive and stop boosting the content. You can actually do something stronger than responding to an x post.
@VanCityVice@shelbyeleslie@KarmSumal Just go their websites. Annual reports are third party audited. All the reports are there. The CRA also posts all independently audited info. It is all public. This has been debunked and they do show their financials. This is a weird road to keep going down
@VanCityVice@KarmSumal@shelbyeleslie It doesn't take much. The CRA numbers don't match the actual ones for many of the orgs. That's enough to question the findings. Grants were assigned to orgs before they existed others listed as receiving grants years after they closed. I don't care either way, but this is sloppy
@KarmSumal@shelbyeleslie More than too many duplicates. There are invented orgs, grants falsely allocated to organizations, and it doesn't take into account many orgs operate across the region and province. Someone paid for some AI slop
@KarmSumal@CTVVancouver@CBCVancouver@DailyHiveVan What comprises this cost? Is it inclusive of other operating costs like property taxes? Are these costs things the government would have to pay even if the building was empty? Weak journalism here. Same with the rush to score points off it.
@PeterMeiszner Have you asked if tenant protections under the RTA are in play? Everyone seems to be making some significant assumptions without having all the facts.
@cosminDZS@KerryLynneFindl Has anyone of you considered if tenant protections under the RTA are in play? The rush to condemnation without all the facts makes everyone look dumb. Just sayin’
@PeterMeiszner Hey, @PeterMeiszner , have you considered that the RTA might be preventing or delaying action from being taken? Or that other factors might be in play?
