@bane_ger@ettaireland Fully agree. For some, keeping track of that many parts would be enough of a challenge, never mind marking them out and making them!!
And that's before the cost is considered
@manusnowman @ettaireland@JCt4ed Great. Tried to send you a private message there but can’t. Could you try sending me one?
I’ve made up a jig for piece 4 also, just printing at the moment so will send it on once I know it’s okay. Just to drill the 2 holes.
I think before Christmas I saw here someone had a jig for the junior cert lathe pieces that they were using for the drilling, does anyone know who had it up? Can’t seem to find it now.
@msajolliffe@brendancomiskey@MS_eduIRL As an update here for JC Engineering, I found the 1st 2 episodes very good. I think the move to Python in episode 3 might be a bit soon for the level we are at but that's just my personal opinion. 1st 2 episodes on blocks are very useful. #thankyou
After watching episode 1, I will certainly be trying this out with my JC Engineering class of 2nd years. Looks great @brendancomiskey@MS_eduIRL@msajolliffe

@MS_eduIRL@rte@microbit_edu Hi there, looks interesting. How long is each episode? And do you think this would be suitable as an introduction to the microbit for JC Engineering? @JCt4ed@IgnatiusDineen Might be useful?
FAO of Engineering teachers, does anyone have a nice little Christmas decoration project that could be done with 1st years who have just finished a taster program? Thanks
