I have been enjoying playing the BBC Micro version of Exile at 1080p and 144fps. Such a fantastic game and it has been great fun building the emulator in @javidx9's pixel game engine. I've included the code here if you would like to take a look: https://t.co/pgdLuuAoCN
Get Knotted! A high score chasing puzzle game made for the 2025 GMTK Game Jam using @javidx9’s excellent Pixel Game Engine.
Play in the browser. Good luck in making more complex loops without “getting knotted”. I would love to hear how you get on!

@UridiumAuthor Hmm.. I’m more on the fence of this. Irritating in the short term, but in general I think cpp libs should break compatibility more if it gives a better end product. Box2d 2->3 and similarly SDL are great examples of this done well
Really pleased with how this shaped up. A huge amount of effort over the last week, and a huge thanks to @TMCNT for creating the sounds and @javidx9 for hosting the gamejam #olccodejam2024
@RestIsPolitics@campbellclaret@RoryStewartUK 1 min of question vs 10 sec of answer. I love your podcasts but, especially on Leading, I wish your questioning was more succinct 😀
@BreakIntoProg@jimblimey It’s a long time since I picked up anything good from a car boot sale - last one was £3 for a fully working Megadrive (they wanted £5 and I haggled). That gives an idea of how long ago it was! Better luck for the next one…
Episode 100 of @corecursive is out, and it's something special.
It's a story about debugging code, and I don't want to spoil it, but it blew my mind. It's about questioning the trust we put in our tools when building software.
Also, Don and Krystal are back and share some reflections on the 100th episode.
