Bill Maher asks how Mississippi is kicking California’s ass in education, and Texas is “blowing them away” in green energy for “way less money.”
“Did you know that a black fourth grader in Mississippi is two and a half times as likely to be proficient in math and reading as one in California? Mississippi is kicking our ass in education and for way less money. We’re 37th in fourth-grade reading, they’re ninth.”
“Texas is kicking our ass in green energy. The average time to get solar panels connected there is three to four months. About 1,000 days faster than it took me. Remember when I was trying to get my solar hooked up? It would have been quicker to build a windmill.”
“Texas has passed California in solar and blows away California when it comes to wind and energy storage. How does a state with no pro-climate policies produce better climate results than a state where here, even though we have so much better bumper stickers on our Priuses?”
“I’ll tell you why. Because you’re allowed to build there because every third person in Texas isn’t someone whose job it is to make sure nothing gets done.”
“Democrats, these are your issues: education, race, the environment.”
“And I say this with love: you’re losing to the Waffle House, car-on-the-lawn states.”
Greg Gutfeld just delivered a savage 2-minute monologue exposing exactly why 60% of Democrats are ending relationships over politics.
He nailed the hypocrisy with one brutal question about dads and Trump:
“If your dad loves Trump and you love your dad — shouldn’t you maybe question whether your dad doesn’t love a Hitler figure?”
GUTFELD: “You know, the difference between Dems and Republicans come down to one thing.”
“They apply moral value to political preference, and that would make sense if your political party praised Hitler or protected murderers and sex fiends.”
“But the mistake is, it’s not the Republicans. But they have always compared Republicans to some kind of existential threat.”
“They’ve done it with climate change, they’ve done it with compassion, they do it with Trump.”
“That allows them to label them as amoral.”
“Republicans are not evil. We have a different path to the pursuit of happiness, and serenity…”
“I don’t care that you hate Trump. Why should you care that I like him? The answer would be because he’s evil.”
“He’s like a Nazi. Well, this is where the whole thing falls apart.”
“What does that mean to me if I’m your Republican friend who voted for Trump? That you would believe I would support a Nazi. We’ve been friends for years.”
“If you are my friend, you have to realize that’s illogical, because how were we friends for 10 or 20 years and now you find out I was a fascist?”
“How did that happen?”
“You knew I was a right winger in 80s, in the 90s and now all of the sudden you’re like, oh I can’t be seen with him.”
“So the key moment in the self-realization of a liberal should be, if your dad loves Trump and you love your dad — shouldn’t you maybe question whether your dad doesn’t love a Hitler figure?”
“And therefore, maybe Trump is not a Hitler figure, and that flaw in your thinking should put into question the reliability on your filter, on your life.”
Democrats are destroying their own relationships over a lie.
On this Kentucky Derby day, here’s your reminder that Secretariat was faster than any horse who has ever lived. The year is 1973 and this is his track record run. Untouched for 53 years. The GOAT.
🚨 JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon just FIRED BACK at Axios CEO Jim VandeHei for calling Trump’s Iran operation a “war of choice.”
“Yeah, I would step back on that one a little bit, when you say its a ‘war of choice.’”
Despite market volatility, Dimon DEFENDED the president’s decision to take decisive action against a regime that’s been killing Americans for decades.
VANDEHEI: “China’s been a big beneficiary of our war in Iran.”
“It is a war of choice.”
“Are we giving, are we handing sort of this golden opportunity to China and to Russia?”
DIMON: “Yeah, I would step back on that one a little bit, when you say its a ‘war of choice.’”
“I’ve heard a lot of people say there was no imminent threat and the threat means that it hasn’t happened yet, the bad thing hasn’t happened.”
“They’ve been killing people around the world for 45 plus years.”
“They’ve killed a lot of Americans.”
“They funded not just Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis.”
“They have terrorist cells here.”
“They were about to get their ballistic missiles, which I think you just found out, can go almost 3000 miles now.”
“They never gave up nuclear.”
“THEY WERE BAD.”
“so I don’t look at this like...does it create all this uncertainty? Absolutely.”
“Does it create more short-term risk for the oil prices? Absolutely.”
“I’m praying it ends well.”
As a Buckeye, watching TreVeyon Henderson’s transformation over the years has been special to me.
A 2021, 5⭐️ recruit, out of Hopewell, VA, he seemed arrogant & cocky as a freshman. Rarely smiled & appeared generally unhappy.
His sophomore year, I noticed a remarkable change. He smiled a lot & just looked happy. Then I heard that he had accepted Christ & it all started to make sense.
Over the next few yrs, Tre went on to lead others to Christ & would give praise to God any chance he got. He gave his testimony on how his faith removed the depression & suicidal thoughts & changed his perspective on life. You could see the change on the field & in his sportsmanship…praying w/other teams, including Michigan after a loss, saying “Jesus Loves You” after a TD in sign language & wearing JESUS WON tshirts.
And through all of this, my teenage daughter was watching. She was watching & noticing how God transformed Tre. It was then that I realized this had become more than just football…this had become a young role model in my daughter’s life, who was making a difference…having an impact on her own personal walk w/ Christ. And for that, I will always be thankful for TreVeyon Henderson. THAT is why he is so special to me✝️
This is still an all-timer clip, of MSNBC’s Brian Williams and NYT Editorial Board Member Mara Gay reading a tweet and at no point in their brains does the math click for either of them. They made a whole on-screen graphic too, which compounds how funny it is
@georgegalloway Shut the fuck up.
We Iranians have been waiting for this moment for 47 years—for our killers, the IRGC members and the Ayatollahs, to be eliminated.
This news about 57 schoolgirls being killed is also fake news.
So let me get this straight. You support the Khamanei regime that killed 38,000+ protesters and maimed hundreds of thousands more. A regime that has repeatedly called for Death to America and has killed thousands of our servicemen and citizens. One that has taken away women’s rights and freedoms for the Iranian people.
And then you call our efforts to destroy the evildoers a catastrophic escalation.
You also support those who attack our police force. You take the side of the criminals rather than the victims of violent actors in our city.
How is it that you can’t differentiate between good and evil?
Why is this so hard for you?
