En otras palabras, tu vieja consola Xbox One se convertirá en el puente para digitalizar parte de tu colección física. Xbox se está preparando para ganar la próxima generación. Solo imaginen que algún día activen la función con los juegos de Xbox 360, sería una completa locura.

Sony planned to move PlayStation toward digital-only games by 2028, but new rumors suggest that transition could now be delayed by 1–2 years.

The backlash is also reportedly growing at Gamescom, with concerns from gamers and parts of the industry over Sony’s disc-free strategy.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is reportedly considering keeping physical games on its next-gen Xbox, while potentially allowing players to convert physical discs into digital licenses.

If these reports are true, Sony may be starting to rethink how aggressively it moves away from physical games - especially with the PS6 on the horizon.
