How you first got to know about HTML, like when clicking on a .hmtl file and open it with chrome it previews the web
Me first;
So i got to know about it in 9th grade when there was a guest lecture delivered by a professional Developer in our school.
He first teached us how to create html file, it's components etc
I was always trying to build a website by my own and from that I created my first website with just a single index.html file, named it as Blood Donation (not really was for that but i remembered only that from that lecture)
"The best we can do as creators is teach people how to spot these scammers and stay away from them."
Scams can happen anyway on any platformβthrough social media, phone calls, emails, or even text messages.
Instead of creating a hierarchy of which platform has more scams, it's better to really teach people how to spot scammers and stay safe from them ;)
Because it is the most user-friendly messaging app that actually respects usersβ privacy and anonymity. It wonβt snitch on its users or read their private messages like WhatsApp and some others do. So scammers naturally gravitate to it.
I hate when people say Telegram is only built for scammers. Sometimes I canβt tell if they are being dumb or just rage-baiting for engagement.
It is not the appβs fault. It is a tool that treats everyone equally. Good people who want privacy use it, and bad actors use it too. The tool is there. Using it for good or bad is the userβs choice.
You can actually tell which platforms truly protect privacy by looking at what scammers rely on the most. And like I said, it is easy to use and that same simplicity that makes it easy for a newbie to use makes it easy for a scammer too.
