@GarzoGyula@EddieCrouch@TheBDA@GDC_UK Absolutely they are. But if they are at the expense of the training you would be expecting a dental professional to be receiving then that would potentially be a bit of an issue. A Deep connection won’t treat disease on its own.
@TheRealBerghaus any reason why you now only make shells for athletes with 5% body fat? Some of us don’t fit that profile but want hi tech shells with a slightly more generous cut like the old Trango. Any chance of catering for us?
@EddieCrouch @fiacloir1 @Dr_SwatiNehete@jordom1991@TheBDA@Policy_Tom Someone who obviously never worked within the contract. His support of the contract is akin to ssying you’re a structural engineer because someone once bought you a Lego set.
To provide the level of care patients need means inc. the number of NHS dentists at least 2x. So you need to train about 18000 EXTRA dentists..will take about 18 years even if you double uni places. You can’t afford the current nhs amount so where’s the funding for more?
Under the Tories we have DIY dentistry in 21st century Britain
Under Labour everyone who needs an NHS dentist will get one

@socalmpaul I’m going to one of their leadership gatherings in November as part of the BAPD. But will it be a leadership gathering or lip service meeting???
Perhaps the GDC understanding the regulations it prosecutes cases under might be a start rather than helping the profession understand something they clearly know how to do already given the number of Blue on blues.
We're proposing to improve guidance to make it easier for dental professionals to understand what they need to report to the GDC in the interests of patient safety and public confidence. Feedback on the consultation by 8 June.

@parcelforce your delivery tracking services is not updating. Delivery being shown as out for delivery now for 2 days. Surely it doesn’t take you that long to find a clearly Marked property on a busy main road????
Perhaps They could use cars to quickly and easily move to a place of work…and pay £12.50 of their wages every day for the privilege @lisanandy@MayorofLondon now there’s a thought.
@5liveSport If the Aussies had any sportsmanlike behaviour left they would have conceded the match instead of it being called a draw. They were well and truly destroyed in this test.
And handing it back for Me was like having handcuffs chained to concrete removed. No more inane ‘initiatives’ and emails from the local area team, no ever decreasing hoops to jump through. I’m more likely get a lift to the Moon from a
Passing ufo than go back.
They can’t afford the training infrastructure or the wages after qualification before we think about how
Much a bursary would be. Unless it’s just going to be a 10% discount card at Wetherspoons….
