12 days...

It's 12 days until I graduate from gen surg residency.

But it's hard to appreciate when my best friend and 8 months pregnant co-resident (future @hopkinssurgery surg onc fellow) @aldiblanc might be deported...

@RachelSalasMD @HopkinsMedicine @JBienstockMD @roberthiggins32 @GoldenSherita @shilkoMD @SharonBord @KamnaBalharaMD @Hopkins_IEE @HopkinsMedNews Can international students apply to this?

[DrHarshThacker @thackerharsh]

@carter_pesson Do you have any idea who would accept international med students for a rotation in General Surgery?

None of us can exactly predict the future, yet it’s a constant source of preoccupation and anxiety for many of us

We are only powerful in the present and control exists only in the moment

Easier said than done:
Stay powerful. Stay in the moment.

@JanjuaMahin Respected Ma’am , I’m a student aspiring to get into general surgery residency in US. Can I have a conversation with you for some advice ? Thanks for your time.

[DrHarshThacker @thackerharsh]

@SimiMittal do you have any suggestions for IMGs doing rotations/ observerships / research volunteering in General Surgery?

[DrHarshThacker @thackerharsh]

@PasamTejaswi could you guide as to how to start off with some research and gain some experience ?

[DrHarshThacker @thackerharsh]

@Inside_TheMatch Hi I am Non-US IMG and Want to pursue #GeneralSurgery #GenSurgTwitter . Planning for #Match2022 but also looking for Research Opportunities with a 1-2 year commitment. Would really like to get in touch with people who have matched or would like to mentor. #GenSurgMatch2022

[DrHarshThacker @thackerharsh]

@mahad_minhas Sir could you recommend and Rotations in #GeneralSurgery For Non US IMGs or even research spots where one could look?
