Harley ❤️ rescued from the streets recently which was lucky because she had a pup without life inside of her, around 6mths old 😞
Just bones left to tell us this sad story. Heartbreaking. We discovered this during her spay. It made us wonder what happened to the others 😞… are they ok? Did she have them on the streets or did her owner abandon her after the pups were old enough? If only they could talk.
For now Harley is well & will hopefully have a bright future ahead of her… and definitely no more pups!

The small French village of Chambon-sur-Lignon received a surprise $2.4 million gift in the will of a 90-year-old Austrian man named Eric Schwam after he padded away in 2020.

Shocked officials soon learned that Schwam was paying the town back for saving him and his family from the Nazis 80 years earlier.

'After being seen by the vet, we have a small, not very positive update on Annie.
First of all, she's been prescribed antibiotic eye drops as she has bilateral conjunctivitis. Thankfully, she takes these well and we hope it'll clear up shortly.
However, her right hind is of great concern. The vet believes she has a long-standing issue with her stifle and that it has likely been this way for some time. For now, she's on pain relief, but moving forward, she'll need x-rays as a bear minimum. If the damage is severe enough, there's a real possibility of amputation, which can be tough on larger breed dogs.
Although she hasn't completed her 7 statutory days yet, we want to put the feelers out for any rescue organisations who can help her. We can't provide specialist care or advanced medical work ups and the longer it's left, the worse it will become.
We really struggle to place Canes, but Annie is only pup in desperate need.
We're still on the lookout for her owner but will only consider release if they can prove she's long-term missing, stolen, or is already receiving treatment under a vet.

Poor Noah, this ☹️sad 5yr old boy got in a fight with the other resident dog, no one saw what happened, both dogs suffered bite wounds. The owner was bitten breaking up the fight and Noah drew the short fricken' straw and was dumped at NYCACC. He has been social, energetic and has been cooperative with select staff. He earned the 2nd best behavior assessment rating. Noah is dog reactive, shocking after a dog fight....a crowded kennel is not good for his mental stress❤️‍🩹he needs oout for a period of decompression and healing❤️‍🩹
