Apple managed to remove the only Find My feature that I have ever used. Why would you get rid of Bluetooth location from find my AirPods? That’s just the worst possible product decision.
@AndyXAndersen@IanColdwater@Grady_Booch there's no indication that compute cost will decrease without significantly sacrificing quality. The $/good answer is too high, and they're subsidizing that cost with investor funding
@heyitsalexsu Assume a fully booked 1st year will bill ~40 hours/wk (it's possible to bill higher) x 50 working weeks/yr (again, staying conservative here) - that estimate is $8.95M/yr. Is that associate making over 100k? Maybe? Probably a little less? So the firm pulls $8.85M...
@Drinkthelion@RiotSupport@taxfraud4 you're playing their game using the game client they wrote. you are connecting to the game server that they own and operate. your voice comm data is passed through their servers in order to reach the other players in the game. how could you possibly expect privacy in this situ?
@wizards_magic Could be a great opportunity to talk about PMCs, the history of the Pinkertons, and your take on criminal or civil liability (wizards, their distributor who made the error, Pinkertons, the YouTuber, etc.)
If the entire exec team isn’t fired, you’re never getting another dime @wizards_magic - you hired mercenaries to raid someone’s home bc you didn’t like the idea of leaking a set. The problem was w your distributor, not the customer. Absolutely disgusting behavior.
@LegalEagle not sure if you think this is worth a video, but Wizards of the Coast hired the Pinkertons to raid a youtuber’s house bc they had sent him boxes of magic cards from an unreleased set instead of the boxes he’d ordered
@SilverMoogle YouTuber ordered booster boxes, was sent boxes an unreleased set in error. YouTuber publicizes what he received and made a video posting unreleased cards. Wizards big mad, hires mercenaries to raid youtuber’s house and intimidate him & fam. Error was made by MTG distributor.
@PCzanik@openSUSE@fedora@obshq Random ? about the elasticsearch-http module, yum install syslog-ng doesn’t seem to include that module. Doesn’t work with @module “elasticsearch-http” in the syslog-ng.conf, or by changing default modules. Am I just missing some simple config here?
@gmiller@Grady_Booch just because you don't know how something works doesn't mean *everyone* doesn't know how it works it takes a matrix as an input and outputs a different matrix, then different code takes that output matrix to a word:matrix table to get the word. It's not skynet
