As a parent you shouldn't be telling your kids that you sacrificed your life for them, It’s hurtful and manipulative, and it’s not true. You chose to have your kids and nobody forced you to have them. Taking care of them is your responsibility.
I’m at that weird age where every younger person I meet makes me realize how much l've aged, and every older person I meet makes me realize I'm still a baby.
HAVE YOU EVER MET SOMEONE and just paused like… so nobody ever sat you down and told you about yourself??
Nobody ADDRESSED this behavior?
Because you’re standing there wondering how someone this difficult still has friends and family, and nobody’s ever called it out.
After giving birth, a woman's internal wounds take six months to heal, 12 months for physical recovery, two years for hormonal balance, and up to five years to rediscover her identity. Relationships frequently fail during this time due to a lack of understanding. Be kind and patient with new mothers; they are facing more challenges than it appears.

Acts of service men are dangerously attractive.
Fixing problems, making sure you’ve eaten, charging your phone, carrying your things… that’s romance to me.
Calculate time in reverse.
That is, if I have an appointment at 4, I start scheduling my whole day in reverse: I have to be there at 4, so I have to leave my house at 3:15 and be ready by 3:10. Getting ready takes 40 minutes, so I have to start by 2:30 at the latest, so I have to shower at 2. For that, I have to finish my chores at home, which I estimate will take about 2 hours, so I have to start at 12, but first I have to eat lunch, so I'll start cooking it at 11... and so on...
