This is awesome: The Florida Senate has passed the Teddy Bridgewater Act, allowing high school coaches to use up to $15k of their own funds to support student-athletes.
The bill allows middle and high school coaches to use up to $15k of their own funds to support student-athletes with food, transportation, and recovery services.
Teddy has changed the world for the better 👏
LEGENDARY PERFORMANCE:
#Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez had one of the greatest performances ever in the Super Bowl.
• Targeted 5 times
• Only one catch allowed
• Three passes defended
• Saved 2 TDs
Gonzalez will be the highest-paid CB ever.https://t.co/iprn61hlmd
Give me the kid who surges late in his senior year over the one anointed as a freshman.
That late riser had to grind. Had to wait. Had to earn it the hard way.
He’s usually more hungry.
More humble.
More prepared for adversity.
There’s a reason so many recruiting rankings don’t hold up long term.
A lot of people aren’t ready for that conversation yet.
Which would you bet on: early hype or earned momentum?
Teddy Bridgewater just got suspended as the Head Coach of Miami Northwestern High School because he covered Uber rides, meals and recovery services for his players out of his own pockets last season.
He got suspended for taking care of his players when they were in need, teaching them how to take care of their bodies and giving them the necessities to help them chase their dreams for a brighter future.
Not cheating. Not stealing. Just caring.
He gave them the tools to chase a better future and is getting punished for it.
Suspending Teddy Bridgewater isn’t justice.
It’s punishing love, leadership, and sacrifice.
Everyone wants to be "blessed" by an offer.
Not everyone wants:
• 6 AM Workouts
• 4+ Hrs of Class & Study Hall everyday
• Working hard at practice, conditioning, and weights
Then go to sleep. Wake up. Then do it again.
