JULIAN ASSANGE IS FREE

Julian Assange is free. He left Belmarsh maximum security prison on the morning of 24 June, after having spent 1901 days there. He was granted bail by the High Court in London and was released at Stansted airport during the afternoon, where he boarded a plane and departed the UK.

This is the result of a global campaign that spanned grass-roots organisers, press freedom campaigners, legislators and leaders from across the political spectrum, all the way to the United Nations. This created the space for a long period of negotiations with the US Department of Justice, leading to a deal that has not yet been formally finalised. We will provide more information as soon as possible.

After more than five years in a 2x3 metre cell, isolated 23 hours a day, he will soon reunite with his wife Stella Assange, and their children, who have only known their father from behind bars.

WikiLeaks published groundbreaking stories of government corruption and human rights abuses, holding the powerful accountable for their actions. As editor-in-chief, Julian paid severely for these principles, and for the people's right to know.

As he returns to Australia, we thank all who stood by us, fought for us, and remained utterly committed in the fight for his freedom.

The Guardian has just written the most vile depraved propaganda laundering of the UN report, just outright lying about it. For October 7, they use highly emotive language and state it as fact, but for the much more damning and actual systematic use of sexual violence against Palestinians, The Guardian says it's just "alleged sexual violence", and says it is only "related to forced stripping of men and boys".

This is an outright lie. The UN report did not just say that the "sexual violence" against Palestinians was limited to forced stripping of men and boy. The Guardian is just outright lying. In the October 7 section they hyperfocus "WOMEN, AGAINST WOMEN, WOMEN", when it explicitly says it was not an ordered campaign by Hamas, and they could not prove rape which the Guardian intentionally omits to conflate "sexual violence" with rape in the reader's mind.

In the Israeli section against Palestinians, it explicitly says it is a systematic campaign of sexual violence against CHILDREN, WOMEN as well as men. Not just stripping men and boys from clothing as the Guardian lies like the depraved genocidal scum they are, but "sexualized torture and abuse, and sexual humiliation and harassment. (...) Sexual acts were carried out by force, including under threats, intimidation and other forms of duress, in inherently coercive circumstances due to the armed conflict and the presence of armed Israeli soldiers."

The report only uses the term "sexualized torture" in the section about Israel doing it to Palestinians, but if you read the Guardian report of the UN report, it's like that never happens. That's just what KHAMAS did to Israeli women, even though it's never used in that section.

If you choose not to be an idiot who takes things at face value, you'll soon realize Bernie Sanders is one of the most damaging and destructive con artists and deceivers in the whole world right now.

'But he calls Netanyahu a war criminal', you'd say in defense of this pseudo-radical for the bourgeois. 'So what?' I'll write you back. What does this mean if it's not backed up by action? What does it do except bolster the system?

Would you be a member of a lynching club but just not while they were doing the actual lynching? Because this is all Sanders is: a valve to lock fantasy radicals into the system that guarantees the continuation of the oppression.

Sanders claims to know Netanyahu is a war criminal, but he continues to sit and be part of the body that provides the moral and financial support required for committing said war crimes, all while pretending he's against it and helping the system portray itself as a democracy.

In doing so, he perpetuates the poisonous lie that one must never break rank with the party and the establishment, no matter what they do.

This is more destructive for the possibility of change than any other political position. This is more deadly for victims of US imperialism than the stupidest Brian Mast.

This is what establishment people cast for a Bernie Sanders role do: they strengthen the establishments and create a false impression by which only the establishment is a possible choice.

And by pretending to be aware a great crime is being committed while staying on the board that actually does it, by power of their action, or inaction, they are really saying: this isn't so bad after all.

And this is all late-stage performative colonial capitalist madhouse. People know all this intuitively, they just let their minds get foggy intentionally not to face the music.

If you believe murdering children is wrong, you cut all ties with the people who do it, period. And if you do not cut ties with them, you don't think murdering children is wrong.
