Hello!
β’
I'm visiting every single station served by Thameslink (@TLRailUK).
β’
I have to get off the train at all 149 stations on the network.
β’
I'm excited to share my journey with you. If you have any questions or queries feel free to ask π
@06GEORGEE @All_UK_Stations I agree. I think it was done for some operational reason. Now the only trains that are technically Thameslink are the ones that enter the core section/Blackfriars terminators
I'm going to start visiting stations again! Had a lot on for the last few months so haven't had the time. I was in Luton today so I'll be posting the two stations I visited while I was there, and I'll be visiting the final MML stations by the end of this week 1/2
@madmetroguy I remember seeing a news story a few months ago about one of the gate staff at Leagrave saving a dog who had jumped on the track. Very heroic stuff.
9/134: Leagrave β οΈ
Didn't spend much time here as I got a train back to Luton, but quite a nice station for an urban area. Sadly didn't get a picture of the Tamper train sitting in the siding next to platforn 1.

In honour of their promotion to the Premier League, here's Luton! I hope a boost in tourism to the town brings MUCH needed improvements to the station. Accessibility is a must.
@nleaney@transportgovuk@hmtreasury Not really a waste of money. The area is in desperate need of a route avoiding London for both passengers and freight.
@JohnnyboyWelwyn Great Northern will sometimes use Thameslink's trains on their routes as they are under the same company (GTR), but on the timetable all the London to Letchworth/Cambridge trains are Great Northern.
@All_UK_Stations The King's Cross to Cambridge stoppers have been taken over by Great Northern. Most are served by the Brighton trains or the Welwyn to Sevenoaks peak trains, but these ones aren't.
@raynoldchow @HanneyDP I know it's very unlikely to happen, but could 717s run on the ELL? They have all the required equipment (front exit doors, third rail). Not sure about loading gauge though.
@dog_gem@SteveWhiteRail@BMLBod Homeward bound won't affect it as much. This is because massive crowds of people are going to a station that doesn't have the facilities to handle it.
@lokiavivson@ianvisits I believe it'll be all trains. So the stoppers and javelins through Canterbury West, as well as the javelins through Dover and Deal
