I’ve gotten so used to Grok’s speech-to-text that typing now feels like hell
Quick tip: Even when you’re using another agentic coding harness, try Grok STT through Grok Build
Anthropic’s speech-to-text is still pretty basic actually in my experience. With longer technical prompts, it can quickly go off the rails and completely distort what you were trying to say
Just press Ctrl + Space, start speaking, and let Grok transcribe the entire thought in real-time
You can then copy it into another tool or press Enter and send it directly to Grok 4.5 right there in Grok Build
It’s fast, highly accurate and paired with one of the most capable and efficient frontier models available
Long, detailed rambling is often exactly what an AI agent needs to understand what you actually want
Kimi K3 also mogs Fable 5 on frontend design!
this time it's not even close, Fable 5 didn't even try to produce something half as good as Kimi's result.
the prosthetic hand still needs polishing but it's way more capable and Kimi deployed more feature than Fable did.
no need to wonder what model to use for frontend anymore, the choice is clear.
Big news: Kimi-K3 by @Kimi_Moonshot is now #1 in the Frontend Code Arena with 1679 pts, surpassing Claude Fable 5.
This is a 17-place jump from Kimi-k2.6 (#18 -> #1).
In Frontend, Kimi-K3 ranked #1 in 6 of 7 domains: Brand & Marketing, Reference-Based Design, Data & Analytics, Consumer Product, Simulations, and Content Creation Tools, landing #2 only in Gaming behind Fable 5.
The full model weights will be released by July 27.
Congrats to the @Kimi_Moonshot team on this major milestone!

New blog post: "A sufficiently detailed spec is code"
I wrote this because I was tired of people claiming that the future of agentic coding is thoughtful specification work. As I show in the post, the reality devolves into slop pseudocode

the truth is no matter how hard you try you’ll never be able to keep up with 100% of what’s going on in AI right now
there’s just too much action right now
