Earlier this week my @X account was locked and the email associated with it is no longer active.
Tried to reach out to @x but to no avail. So starting over.

Today is a great day to pray for your pastor! 🙏
*️⃣ Pray for his personal intimacy with Jesus.
*️⃣ Pray for his marriage and family.
*️⃣ Pray for wisdom as he makes decisions.
*️⃣ Pray for his health and protection.
Pray for your pastor today. The enemy might be attacking him causing him to doubt the word he has been given through his study and prayer this past week, to preach to God’s people tomorrow.
And he has a full day of family activities today.
In a culture that celebrates bigger, faster, and more visible, it’s easy for pastors of normative-size churches to wonder if what they’re doing matters.
It does.
At our Small Church Pastor’s Luncheon, we were reminded that God’s measure of success isn’t attendance, influence, or platform size. It’s faithfulness.
Across North America, thousands of pastors are faithfully shepherding the churches God has entrusted to them. Their work matters. Their churches matter. And through their obedience, God is advancing His mission in communities everywhere.
We’re grateful for every pastor who continues to faithfully serve, week after week, year after year.
Mark Daigneault on playing most of the series without Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell:
"We have not been an excuse team ever and we're not gonna start now."
"If we were taking the most available excuse at any point, we wouldn't be here."
Sean and I will be traveling to Nashville, TN tomorrow as I will be speaking at a Pastor’s Lunch with Nashville Baptist Association, then heading north to FBC Hendersonville to speak at a Pastor’s Dinner with the Galletin Association.

not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; [3] not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. [4] And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
1 Peter 5:1-4 (ESV)
[1] So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed:[2] shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight
John 21:25
Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. [ESV]
Listened to this one today. A sub thread, and perhaps the more important aspect was how to lament when the sadness of ministry hits.
Great episode!
Pastor, give this a listen 🎧
New episode: “When It’s Hard to Love Certain People”
Pastors, what do you do when a church member’s criticism, personality, or past wounds make it really hard to love them?
In this Trench Talk episode, Brian Croft and Jim Savastio walk through:
The biblical call to love all the flock (no asterisks)
How to discern wounded sheep vs. wolves
Fighting bitterness with lament, Scripture, and honest friendships
Practical ways to deal with deep hurt and stress in ministry
🙏 Pastor, this one is for your heart.
