@RestrictedVids If there’s clear evidence of instigation on the kids part there should be minimal punishment. He could have seriously hurt the child if he’d fallen wrong but he didn’t and clearly didn’t intend to.
@scarlett4kids To yourself perhaps, but you also have to contend with the beliefs of other people. Reciprocity, emotion, and evolutionarily developed systems of social cohesion are identifiable real things that you have to address in any system of belief, especially to apply it to others
@Strandjunker If preventing abortion is the main goal of pro-lifers, promoting and investing in birth control is going to be your #1 priority. Sex education is part of birth control too, and explicit sex education so people who need it don’t fuck it up. You cannot stop people from having sex
@LaurenWitzkeDE Capitalism I’d guess. Auto manufacturing moved to where it’s cheaper and easier for corporations to continue increasing profit. The simple fix would be *gasp* government intervention in the market!
@vergilswarrior I don’t hold stealing food, first aid stuff, or hygienic supplies against anyone. If I had a store where this was a problem I would start holding a charity drive or something and only punish those who stole shit they don’t need.
@TheDemocrats Hahaha I don’t know Jack shit about politics but trump is so winning. Why’re you guys so insistent on propping up shitty candidates? I know he’s the incumbent but seriously.
@MarkEHaight1@superxtianmario It’s a non falsifiable claim. That doesn’t mean it’s true. “God is real cause you can’t prove he’s not” is equivalent to saying “there is an invisible teapot orbiting the earth at all times”. It’s not a basis for a factual argument.
@kirawontmiss Is that how religious people think? I have to give y’all more credit than “this thing is cool therefore I know god is real”. Like that’s not even an argument that’s just words.
