Last year, my friends and I all applied to grad school and the process was brutal. Digging through faculty pages trying to figure out who even has funding. Writing cold emails from scratch over and over. Tracking everything across tabs and spreadsheets that never made sense.

Nobody tells you how much of the process is just manual, tedious work.
