The u3a Open Afternoon is held at Thatcham Catholic Hall and is an opportunity to meet and join some of the many groups of Thatcham u3a. These include book and lunch clubs, singing, wine tasting, photography, mah jong, art and craft and barn dancing.

Join author JS Monroe as he opens @thatchamfest at Thatcham Bowling Club as talks about his new contemporary thriller, No Place To Hide, a loose retelling of Christopher Marlowe's 'Dr Faustus'.
JS Monroe worked as a foreign correspondent in Delhi, and was Weekend editor of the Daily Telegraph before becoming a full- time writer. His psychological thriller Find Me became a bestseller in 2017, and, under his real name Jon Stock, he is also the author of five spy thrillers
I'm back for another #history walk as part of @thatchamfest. I have done, still do, the Churchyard and town centre walks but this year we are going to look at Thatcham Cemetery. The controversy over its creation along with architecture of the chapel and individuals burried there.
Over 60% of all the events in this years Festival are FREE to attend, with no ticket more than ยฃ6. We want the events in the Festival to be accessible to everyone in our community so please come and join us!
Fantastic to be able to attend the unveiling of the Lt-Col Urquhart blue plaque this morning in #Thatcham as part of @thatchamfest and the @ThatchamTC Heritage Working Party.
Just about ready to get off to lead today's @thatchamfest Town Centre History walk. Lots of history within just the High Street, Broadway and Church Lane.
Thatcham High Street is closed to traffic and in its place, a stage with live music and a range of artisan, street food stalls along the High Street.
Donโt forget to look out for the African drumming workshop at the bottom of the High Street.
