During the outreach, we shared waste bags with market sellers and engaged them on proper waste management. The activity helped reduce air pollution, limit rodent breeding, curb disease spread, and contributed to a cleaner, greener Abule-Ado.
On the 8th of November, I led a team of changemakers from @eco_catalyst for a clean-up and sensitization exercise in the Abule-Ado community, Satellite Town, Lagos. We took action after observing the high level of indiscriminate waste disposal in the area.
I was presented with a certificate for successfully completing a three day empowerment and training program focused on promoting waste-to-wealth skills. The program featured multiple training sessions facilitated by experts in the waste management sector.
On the third day, we visited a recycling collection point where the officer in charge explained how they collaborate with various NGOs during clean-up activities, as well as how they collect plastics from scavengers. It was a highly insightful and impactful experience.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of participating in the @lagosfoodbank 6th Annual Walkathon at the Tafawa Balewa square in Lagos, an impactful movement for social change. This advocacy initiative is designed to raise awareness about their school feeding program, EDUFOOD.
37% of children are stunted, and 1.4 million children suffer from severe acute malnutrition.
I served as a member of the registration team, where I had the responsibility of welcoming participants and registering them for the event.
