Prabowo, Presiden Indonesia yang Semakin Bodoh

Di tengah ancaman tarif dagang baru dari Amerika Serikat yang mencapai 32% terhadap ekspor Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, tampil dengan penuh percaya diri mengumbar strategi yang katanya, akan menyelamatkan ekonomi bangsa dengan memaksimalkan Makan Bergizi Gratis, Hilirisasi, dan memanfaatkan keanggotaan di dalam BRICS.

Bagi pemujanya yang (maaf) tolol, strategi Prabowo tadi akan mereka sambut dengan tepuk tangan, atau bahkan tangisan. Namun, benarkah strategi ‘jenius’ itu datang dari seorang Prabowo yang (dulunya) intelek, atau, hanya sekedar omong kosong dari Presiden yang semakin terlihat bodoh di mata saya?

Apakah dengan mengandalkan MBG, hilirisasi, dan keanggotaan BRICS bisa menjadi penopang ekonomi negara yang sedang tidak baik-baik saja ini? Bisa, tapi saya bohong, hehehe. Faktanya, kurs IDR yang terus saja merosot hingga Rp16.950 per USD, tidak akan mampu menolong kita dari kenaikan harga-harga kebutuhan dari primer, tersier, hingga sekunder yang masih mengandalkan impor.

Esai kali ini sengaja saya buat dengan provokatif, karena saya pribadi sudah gelisah dengan semakin tumpulnya intelektualitas Presiden Prabowo.
