@loughsagency Do adult lamprey use these bristle passes? I can’t imagine they get good suction on the uneven surface, and the bristles are too small for them to push through. Be interesting to see some data on that!

Sea #lamprey spawning in the River Barrow, Ireland. They look pretty beat up already; lampreys spawn just once before they die, so they’re usually exhausted by this point and can’t recover after they deposit their eggs.
