Update on Dr Mahnoor’s Current Condition 👇
Alhamdulillah. Dr Mahnoor was assessed by the AKUH ER team and is now stable. There are no life or organ threatening signs at this time.

She sustained around 13% total body surface area burns, 7-8% are deep/partial thickness, the rest superficial. Her eyes have bilateral moderate corneal opacity, but Alhamdulillah vision is intact and being managed conservatively by the Ophthalmology team.

She is under the care of AKUH’s specialist team including Plastic Surgery, and is receiving wound care, fluids, pain management, and eye treatment. Doctors will continue to monitor her closely in the coming days.

This is a difficult recovery, but the fact that her vitals, organs, and eyesight are safe is a huge blessing.

Please keep Dr Mahnoor in your sincere prayers for complete healing and strength.

This act of cruelty must not be forgotten or ignored. We strongly demand justice against those responsible. Justice should be served.

یہ ویڈیو بنانے والے شخص کے رویے پر سنجیدگی سے غور ہونا چاہیے۔ ہر کوئی موبائل نکال کر غیر ضروری ڈرامہ شروع کر دیتا ہے۔

ایمرجنسی میں علاج مریض کے کلینیکل معائنے کی بنیاد پر فوراً شروع کیا جاتا ہے، ٹیسٹس بعد میں کیے جا سکتے ہیں۔

ٹیسٹ کروانے یا نہ کروانے کی مکمل ذمہ داری ڈاکٹر کی نہیں ہوتی، وہ صرف آپ کو advise کر سکتا ہے۔ ٹیسٹ ہوئے ہیں یا نہیں، اس کا جواب آپ کو administration سے لینا چاہیے نہ کہ اس ڈاکٹر سے جس نے آپ کا اچھی طرح معائنہ کر کے ضروری ٹیسٹس تجویز کیے۔

ایمرجنسی میں موجود ڈاکٹر کا مقصد فوری علاج دینا ہوتا ہے، نہ کہ ہر وقت ٹیسٹ کروانا۔ ایسے حالات میں ڈاکٹر کے ساتھ بدتمیزی بالکل مناسب نہیں۔

اگر اسی طرح ایمرجنسی میں ڈاکٹروں کی مسلسل بےعزتی اور غیر ضروری ویڈیوز کا سلسلہ جاری رہا تو اس کا نقصان آخرکار عوام کو ہی ہوگا۔ ایک وقت آ سکتا ہے جب ڈاکٹرز بھی حد سے زیادہ برداشت کرنا چھوڑ دیں گے

Maryam Nawaz has ruined the health department of punjab , not raised a single penny for any scale dr / nurse /pharmacist or para medical staff . Made brain rot policies as avoiding use of cell phones or wearing body cameras . The drs appointed through specialised pay packages are still waiting for their pays to be released. Cherry on the top not taking any action against the exploitation and harassment faced by medics bcz normal public interferes with the management plans and if they are declined they attack the dr.
The health dept is way more miserable and pathetic than buzdar’s tenure but the brain rot patwaris would tell you punjab’s health sector is blooming like tulips and roses

A young doctor requested just one thing.

“Sir, I got married recently. Can I spend my first Eid with my family?”

The answer was no.

While millions of people travel home for Eid, many doctors report for duty. They miss family gatherings, weddings, birthdays, funerals, and the moments they can never get back. Not because they want to, but because hospitals never close.

The irony is painful.

When a shop closes on a holiday, people understand.
When a plumber charges extra on a holiday, people understand.
When offices shut down for Eid, people understand.

But when doctors ask for fair pay, better working conditions, or even the chance to spend an Eid with their loved ones, many act as if doctors are not human.

A doctor in Pakistan may work 24-36 hour shifts, treat hundreds of patients, face violence from attendants, work in overcrowded wards, and sacrifice family time yet often receives no special allowance for public holidays and earns far less than many professionals carrying far less responsibility.

Every exhausted doctor standing in an emergency ward on Eid is missing a family waiting at home.

Every doctor treating your loved one on a holiday is someone else's loved one too.

If society wants safe hospitals and better patient care, it must also care about the people providing that care.

Respect for doctors is not a privilege.

It is an investment in healthcare itself.

ایک خاتون تیماردار اس وقت مریض کے ساتھ موجود ہیں۔ ڈاکٹر صاحب مریض کا گلاسگو کومہ اسکیل (GCS) جانچنے کے لیے Painful Stimulus استعمال کر رہے ہیں، جو طبی معائنے کا ایک معمول، مستند اور عالمی طور پر تسلیم شدہ طریقہ ہے۔ وہ یہ معائنہ مکمل پیشہ ورانہ انداز میں انجام دے رہے ہیں۔ نہ کوئی غیر مناسب حرکت ہے، نہ کوئی مذاق، اور نہ ہی کوئی ایسا رویہ جس پر اعتراض کیا جا سکے۔

افسوس کی بات یہ ہے کہ آج کل بغیر حقائق جانے کیمرہ نکال کر لوگوں کو بدنام کرنے کا رجحان بڑھتا جا رہا ہے۔ ایک شخص نے ویڈیو بنا کر سوشل میڈیا پر ڈال دی، حالانکہ اسے یہ بھی معلوم نہیں کہ ڈاکٹر مریض کی اعصابی حالت جانچنے کے لیے کن طبی طریقوں کا استعمال کرتے ہیں۔

جن ڈاکٹر صاحب کی ویڈیو بنائی گئی، ان کے بارے میں ساتھیوں اور مریضوں کی رائے یہی ہے کہ وہ ایک نہایت قابل، محنتی اور ذمہ دار معالج ہیں، جو اپنی پیشہ ورانہ ذمہ داریاں انتہائی دیانت داری اور لگن کے ساتھ ادا کرتے ہیں۔

حیرت کی بات یہ ہے کہ اگر ڈاکٹر مریض کا مکمل اور باریک بینی سے معائنہ کرے تو بھی اعتراض، اور اگر جلدی میں معائنہ کرے تو بھی شکایت۔ آخر ڈاکٹر جائیں تو جائیں کہاں؟ ایک طرف ہم چاہتے ہیں کہ مریض کو بہترین طبی نگہداشت ملے، اور دوسری طرف انہی طبی طریقہ کار کو سیاق و سباق سے ہٹ کر پیش کر کے ڈاکٹروں کو تنقید کا نشانہ بنایا جاتا ہے۔ تنقید ضرور ہونی چاہیے، لیکن حقائق، علم اور انصاف کے دائرے میں رہ کر۔ کسی چند سیکنڈ کی ویڈیو کی بنیاد پر کسی معالج کی نیت یا کردار پر فیصلہ دینا نہ منصفانہ ہے اور نہ ہی ذمہ دارانہ طرزِ عمل.

ڈاکٹر نے مریض کو معائنہ کرنے کے بعد بتایا کہ یہ دل کے دورے والا درد نہیں بلکہ عضلاتی (Muscular) درد ہے، اور صرف پرچی بنوا کر لانے کا کہا تاکہ دوا لکھی جا سکے۔ ویڈیو میں واضح طور پر دیکھا جا سکتا ہے کہ اُس وقت دو ڈاکٹر ڈیوٹی پر موجود تھے اور دیگر مریضوں کو بھی دیکھ رہے تھے۔

اب سوال یہ ہے کہ اس تمام صورتحال میں ڈاکٹر کی غلطی کہاں ہے؟ نہ مریض کی جان کو کوئی خطرہ ہوا، نہ کسی قسم کا نقصان پہنچا۔ پھر ہر واقعے میں بغیر حقیقت جانے ڈاکٹروں کو قصوروار کیوں ٹھہرایا جاتا ہے؟

افسوس کی بات یہ ہے کہ معاشرے میں ڈاکٹروں کے خلاف نفرت اس حد تک بڑھ گئی ہے کہ ہر کوئی موبائل اٹھا کر ہسپتال پہنچ جاتا ہے اور علاج کے عمل میں مداخلت شروع کر دیتا ہے۔ اگر ہر فیصلہ ویڈیوز اور شور شرابے کی بنیاد پر ہونا ہے تو پھر پیشہ ورانہ رائے اور طبی مہارت کی کیا حیثیت رہ جائے گی؟

چلیں، تسلیم کر لیتے ہیں کہ بابر اعظم نے ایک لمحے میں غلطی کر دی لیکن قادر صاحب، ایسا لگتا ہے کہ آپ کی نظر صرف اسی ایک لمحے پر ٹھہر گئی اور باقی کھلاڑیوں کی چھوٹی چھوٹی لغزشوں کو دیکھنے کی فرصت نہیں ملی۔ کھیل پر بھاشن دینے والے ہم جیسوں کے لیے سب سے آسان کام یہی ہے کہ جس کھلاڑی پر چاہا اس کی غلطی پر انگلی اٹھا دیں، اور جس کی مرضی، اس کا ہر قصور معاف۔

اگر ہم ذرا آنکھیں کھول کر دیکھیں تو باقی کھلاڑی بھی دن بھر آزمائش میں تھے چاہے شان مسعود ہو، سعود شکیل ہو، سلمان علی آغا ہو یا محمد رضوان ۔۔ عظمت کا کچھ درس ان کیلئے بھی عنایت ہو؟

بابر پر انگلی اٹھانا سب سے آسان کام ہے کیونکہ ہر نظر اس پر جمی رہتی ہے لیکن اگر ہم صرف ایک کھلاڑی کی غلطی پر نظریں جما دیں اور باقی کی کوتاہیوں کو نظر انداز کریں،تو یہ نہ صرف کھیل کے ساتھ نا انصافی ہے بلکہ پیشہ وارانہ اقدار سے بھی کوسوں دور ہے۔
