@MichaelPatak Why did you change your definition of hedging? You cited CME rule 534 which requires intent, but you reset accounts with thousand of dollars for unintentional trades months ago. If it was problem months ago, why wait?
@ghostmylight1@AskTopstep This is the whole point. Even their section 27 rule requires manipulation to gain an advantage. But their going to cite wash trading rules as a reason to deny payouts
@Michigan_Trader@tallie_mic60083@6o4aye@MichaelPatak If that’s the rule why didn’t they flag it 6 months ago or during the payout on the account? The rule says hedging is done to gain an unfair advantage, so tell me how a 10 second incidental trades satisfies that?
@Michigan_Trader@tallie_mic60083@6o4aye@MichaelPatak Do you know the Topstep rule for hedging? Manipulation to gain an unfair advantage. Where’s the manipulation and advantage? It wasn’t a rule violation before.
@tallie_mic60083@6o4aye@MichaelPatak Except that’s not what Topstep did. If you unintentionally held opposite positions for a few seconds 6 months ago, that’s now a “hedge”
@HawgsByNinety@MichaelPatak Exactly. I lost money on the alleged “hedge”. And now they’re taking away my $10k profits. A one time unintentional trade is not a hedge. Even their rules say hedging is manipulation to gain an advantage.
