Dear fellow citizens and students,

This government’s audacity knows no bounds. After unleashing a blood bath and mass arrests for the past few days, it has taken our fellow coordinators hostage in the Detective Branch office and gotten them to call off the movement -- at gunpoint. In so doing, it has made a mockery of the blood of the martyrs and shown complete disregard for our nine-point demand.

We would like to categorically and unequivocally state that the student body will never be unfaithful to the blood of the martyrs till our last breath.

Even after everything, the government is continuing to show complete and utter insensitivity to our movement. It is threatening and intimidating the families of the martyrs killed by the state forces and Chhatra League terrorists. The families are being brought to Dhaka by the armed forces and coerced to give false statements putting all the blame on the agitators.

Dear compatriots, you know that the government is continuing the stream roller of torture of ordinary students in the country due to the quota reform movement. After the mass killings, the government is now carrying out mass arrests and block raids across the country. The private university students are not spared. Thousands of cases and arrests have been made and many more are on the way.

No one is spared from the government’s brutality. Not even little Samir. He did not join in the quota movement, he was at home, just looking out the window -- and still he was shot dead from a helicopter. The school and college students of schools and colleges were brutally attacked and many of them have been martyred or are gravely injured.

In this situation, we want to say in strict terms that the student movement will continue until our nine-point demand is implemented. We have been, are and will remain steadfast in our nine-point demand.

Stop spreading fake news, I see now the russian fake news spreading tactic is being applied in Bangladesh as well. I remember my school bus getting bombed by BNP in 2011, at least swami league has ensured peace in the streets of Dhaka.

@GerAmbBD @GermanEmbassyBD why is the embassy not issuing new interview dates for students? The last interview date is 1 march only 7 days left from the last date yet they aren't giving students who submitted documents interview dates yet. It is so hurtful to have waited this

@GerAmbBD Is it under your jurisdiction to host an event as such? Applicants will pay a special fee using which you can compensate the extra hours of the consulate officer. I just want to know if it is possible to do so while keeping adherence to the German law. With utmost respect hoping

Turn off visa application registration system, otherwise this waiting period will become 10 years one day @GerAmbBD

@Rk51552757 @GerAmbBD Exactly, fraud agencies are registering for appointment without any concern. Also it's not the embassy's but our own fault but I hope in the coming time embassy will change the procedure then they'll barely see 10/5 people registering a day. It'll be good for both them and us

@GerAmbBD @binMozahid Appointment fee while applying for the visa appointment, if u do that, people won't take appointments carelessly. And the waiting period might then decrease by few months.

@GerAmbBD @binMozahid No that's not true, students can get appointment without offer letter, see that's the real reason why this backlog is even in the place. Make sure only students with offer letter gets to take an appointment and then see how the waiting period deducts massively, also introduce
