@Icko_Jim@1Nicdar@JamesInSWGA No kidding. I recently had a deep-dive discussion with someone about what would happen if we experienced a TRULY large CME. It was... sobering.
There can be several reasons. First, this same car starts at $47,490 here in the U.S., so that's quite a difference. Second, not every buyer lives in a place where charging overnight (i.e. "charging at home") is feasible and (to me, at least) that's one of the great benefits of electric mobility. Third, insurance rates need to come down for these things because Lemonade insurance is not yet available in all states. I'm a strong proponent for Tesla and electric cars in general, but they do not make sense for all use cases and all buying cases just yet. We're getting there, though!
@Nisha_khan70 As a mechanical engineer who has worked with pumped water systems for 30+ years, I can assure you this is complete bullshit. A submerged pump is not being shown.
