.@Qrates_com have been offering an exemplar model of how not to run a business, how to alienate loyal customers and, more plainly, how to totally screw over independent artists and labels.

It has been six months since a recent re-pressing of ours was apparently completed, yet Qrates have not shipped this to us or fans, citing ‘fulfilment issues’ as their reason.

After an unfruitful back and forth with their support team (with a distinct lack of any form of apology or acceptance of responsibility) we have realised we are far from alone in our experience…

Our friends at @wearestereofox have had the exact same experience, and now we’re seeing so many more Qrates customers sharing similar issues.

Their casual, flippant responses display a distinct lack of remorse and accountability for the wider impact of their negligence.

It’s hard enough balancing finances as it is as an independent musician, and to invest money into a vinyl pressing and not receive the end product is appalling, embarrassing and simply unacceptable.

We’re really not one to go on a public rant, but Qrates need to provide answers, issue an apology and offer compensation to all those impacted. This is simply no way to ethically run a business. Enough is enough. #qrates
